Hand-drawn Map of ISU

Maps are essential to our lives. We use them when we go to a restaurant, visit a friend or travel to a new place. Thousands of students come to Iowa State University each year to study, and when they first arrive, they will want to take a campus tour and explore this beautiful campus. A hand-drawn map will give them a quick overview of the entire campus layout and culture, and when they graduate one day, the hand-drawn map will hold all their memories of their time on campus. While a traditional map is only used to find the route to a destination, a hand-drawn map is different because it can be designed according to the characteristics of the campus. It is no longer a wayfinding tool, but a work of art that is practical, memorable, and collectible. For this project, I will design a hand-drawn map of Iowa State University.
